I am a Canadian/American documentary photographer and multimedia journalist. My primary goal is to tell stories that will spur change, particularly when there is the potential to shed light on the challenges faced by underrepresented or underprivileged communities. I believe in the power of visual journalism and although documentary photography is my main focus, I have also worked in several other mediums including radio, documentary film and as a newspaper reporter. I aim to focus on translating the nuances and subtleties that exist in all stories into journalism that improves people's understanding of a given issue or subject.
